his JT's are totally tourney legal as used mine for the whole mill series last year

no i meant custom made as in hand built not hand painted
as in you built the frames and faceplate yourself from scratch being not legal

thanks duncan but i don't intend to make the actual mask itself, just design it

whilst on the subject, whats the rules regards modifying a mask? i have added a small snippit of padding to one of the ears of my E-vents to allow me to wear my hearing aid and mask at same time, surely that should be ok?

Yep, alot of people paint them themselves though
