Not that it matters anymore, but my cure2 worked fine today when I used it in the etek2. Not a single chop or problem.

mine worked perfect in my ego6 today as well, not a single chop, even with some dodgy paint.

just an update on this, i got the new bolt back from Nicky and had no problems all weekend, so it must have been a duff bolt!

Did you swap the bolt pin? The bolt pin that comes with the cure2 is slightly different since its for 7's & 8's, i beleive.

Did this for my e-tek and its been absolutely perfect in 3 pratices and a tourney... but then again so was the origional cure.
