I played 1.6 for about 2 years, then played source and immediately bought it and haven't played 1.6 since. This was a good few years ago as well. Its just a more refined game.

not to worry about the jaded feeling, same reason why i only play it at LAN centres with mates , just aint fun any more.

And i deffinately agree on the dust2 comment

bring back the frog jumping days of 1.4

Ahh you young 'uns.

Played many moons ago when broadband was literally a luxury, used to sit up till god only knows what time when I should have been studying.

That would have been 13 ish years ago, and it was the best game anywhere. Don't remember how many LAN parties were played around it.

i know what you meen even paid for isdn to get a stable conection
