I will send you a new solenoid to replace the faulty unit.
I doubt the manifold is to blame, but the gaskets may be? I will send you a new set of those aswell.

Right final bit to this new noid arrived, cheers Dave 
- but same problem so working backwards gave it a go with the old manifold which was tricky as the original screws were not in the allen key set they were 3/64 so I had to get a separate key for them. Thats probably why the heads of the screws are sitting proud in the last photo (they were tight though) they weren't countersunk flush like these little ones. Gassed up and phew no leaks if it holds up it probably means the issue was with the manifold all along.
It also means both noids are probably fine

In that case expect a new manifold to turn up in the post shortly!
Manifold alan key was purposly left out of the kit to stop users over screwing the manifold down too much and stripping the threads in the body.
