A couple of complaints from me;
Waiting for the afternoon xball to start, our first game was scheduled around 1pm, it wasnt untill 3pm that we started playing. Speaking to the other teams that regularly play the open xball and apparently this isnt a one off thing. Considering that my entire team had drives of 2/3 hours or more it made for a very, very long day.

secondly, the refs need to know how to handle situations in terms of physical contact. At one point mark was luckily on hand and took both players and issued an event ban, but at another point, i think it was kinetic vs mad monks, a player from madmonks kicked one from kinetic, he was then given a "talking to" from the refs and was still allowed to play and not even a penalty was given...

The reffing is always consistantly poor, with some extremely questionable calls, I understand that rich is doing refs clinics so it would be nice that I would have something good to say about the reffing if i do visit again.

Another question, in the morning I was given a wrist band, just wondering what the point of it was?

On the plus side, The morning session that I played ran to schedule and had very little issues with anything there, it only seemed to be the afternoon where things fell down.

i only have 1 real gripe, the refs do a good job and have to put up with a hell of alot tbh (rnd 4 heat, rnd 3 all day rain etc), but i would like to see refs call hits quicker (and in more than a fair amount of games, actually call the hits), i was at the side lines watching the games, and the mount of players who were hit and either weren't called out, or got away with whiping was staggering tbh, i realise there isn't a great deal you can do with it (and i did point it out to mark and rich on the day), but at the end of the day, if we're gonna loose a game, i would prefer to loose it fairly. With that being said, i do have to give 2 thumbs up to the ref on field 5 (dorito side towards the bottom), one of the few refs i saw who was getting lit up every game, BUT despite it, would actually dash to a player to check him down fully when needed, and not bothered about the paint hitting him (except when he was hit in the throat, didn't half yelp at that one lol)

Overall rich, great tournament, another good event, and there will always be something that goes wrong, thats just how life is, so keep up the good work man, i know you do a hell of alot, on, off the field, and even between the events!!

P.S.
I realise refs can only call what they can see, but i know a few refs saw the hits and didn't react quick enough or at all
