The scoring system in the M5 works like this.
Teams recieve 3 points for a win, 1 point each for a draw. Then you have the elimination difference. This is the number of players shot minus the number of players you lost in game (like football goal difference).
Eg team A beats team B. with 3 bodies live.
Team A recieves 3 points.
Elim diff = 5 (as they shot all the opposing team) minus the 2 (own players eliminated) = +3
Team B recieves 0 points.
Elim diff = 2 - 5 = -3
Elimination difference comes in on tied scores. If scores are tied we then go on head to head result, then on league ranking coming into event.
