Can anyone give me (concrete) info on which countries around the world actually recognise Paintball as a sport. This should be backed up with proof (official website link etc) as I am doing a study on the sport.

In France paintball is not officialy recognised.
The french federation had tried to get the agreement with no success a first time some years ago.
But they are still triyng to get things better to have a successful official recognition...even if its really hard.

The website of the french federation is www.paintball-france.com

From what I know, a country where paintball is recognised by ministry of sport is Russia, but it needs to be confirmed.

Dont think it is in the states either

This is pretty poor, I am looking for ammunition, and I am not getting any. Ah well, I suppose I can take the "Pioneering the sport" angle instead :D

thats probably the best option because the government dont understand paintballers and thimk its too dangourus to be classed as a sport

Good luck with it all
