Sorry...

And the first one answers back, " 1500 psi." . Or what ever the amount is. It always seemed as if the pressure gauge would tell them how much air they got left. Sorry dude, I'm just trying to learn as much as I can.
Ok, there are few points to note here.
PSI = pounds per square inch and is a pressure.
CI = cubic inch and is a volume. It is the size of your tank i.e. a small tank is 45ci a very large one is 114ci. Most people use a 68ci.
Firstly when talking about psi and CI we are talking about air or nitro or HPA systems not co2. When we talk about co2 we usually talk in weight terms like Oz.
This is because with air the pressure in your tank directly relates to how much you have left. So you can tell from the PSI how much air you have left.
BUT with co2 it is stored as liquid or solid in your tank and evaporates off to produce co2 gas. This process keeps a steady pressure of approx 850psi all the time until there is no more co2 liquid to turn into gas and at which point you are out and the pressure in your tank will start dropping. So you cannot tell from the pressure in a co2 tank how much is left until oops it's too late and you are out of gas.
