My budget is about
£300-400 for a marker
£100 max for loader
£150 max for air (preferably less!)

I want to play about once a month, maybe more freqently. Ideally I want to play speedball, but BZ paitnball only really do woodsball in my area (Hartlepool)

So basically PE is a good way to go, hence ETEK or Ego?
Well thats more than Ive ever dished out for a set up! But I am a tight arse :) Any of those markers listed will work great as long as you take the time to learn how they work a little bit, but yes Eclipse Ego's are up there with any of the best.

Best option is to go have a fondle and if possible a little shoot with them over a chrono at a walkon or a training day at CPPS/Bricketwood etc. You never know, the one that feels perfect in your hand might not be the EGO.

For the loader I'd recommend a Empire Prophecy Z2 over the Halo. Can get one for around £70? second hand.
For the marker, for 300 you could probably get an Ego 10 as suggested above, an Empire Axe, or even a Geo.
For air, all the tanks out nowadays are good, just need to think if you want a large tank or a smaller one.
