yes balf, his foot was out

as cueto raised his foot, it slid onto the line before coming up. i thought the game was reffed very well, yes some blocking call's where missed, and a few holding call's, but thats to happen in every game, the ref can't see all in open play.

arguing the call now is just aids tho, they won, we lost..... now to look forward to hamilton winning tomorrow

You must be blind if you think his foot touched the line. From all angles it looked like it did...then it showed it from behind, and you can clearly see he lifts his foot up over the line...sliding on his knee - therefore a try.

We were robbed. We played better rugby - jst ****ed up the line-outs big time, and kept giving away STUPID penalties. But really, that try would've have put things in our favour...

His foot went up, but his knee stil touched the line before the ball was down. :(

Even if we would have got that try, we'd still have lost.

yes we would have but all we would have needed was one of johnny's famous drop kick to win by one point:mad:

never mind better luck next time.

England played brilliantly they definately brought their A game.. but South Africa WERE the best team, we had already thrashed england once in the world cup and had yet to lose a game.
Whether that try was legal or not remains to be seen and can be argued over till the end of time, but thats just sore losing then:rolleyes:
Even if it was given, who know's what might of happened. If the game went on like it did, South africa still would've got it.

In fairness england should be proud they even made it that far with their prior performance leading up to the world cup and at the start.

to be honest I thought it was a try. Did you here the ref ask will you just comfirm that i can give the try. He was stood behind the player at the time of the try. To be honest we did well condisdering that we were expected to go out in the early rounds. At the end of the day every body has had bad calls by refs so we just live with it. Oh well lets Hope Lewis wins the gp today.

Location, Location.
it wasn't a try. Super slow mo from behind shows both foot and knee touched the line before the ball touched the ground.

The best team won end of the day. England gave away some silly penalties but thats the way it played. Still proud of em.

All eyes on Lewis now...
