cocker vs. bushmaster

I've been lookin to get a new gun and ive pretty much narrowed it down to either the vertical feed 2000 cocker or the bushmaster 2000. Right now im thinking more towards the cocker. If anyone has some other suggestions im open to them, just know my price range is only about 500 US dollars. Thanks for the help.

Wot mine and probally a few other peopls sugestions will be is, if you can try them both and see how you get on with each one. but since ive only really ever used a cocker i personally would say one of them a get an E-blade saved up for.

But if he can pick up a cheap but gd nick cocker, and saves a bit (if needed) he can e-blade it and make it Fast as Fcuk;)

I've got the exact two markers you're talking about. My advice would be the Bushmaster, but that's just my personal preference. Some advice though: do a little searching at classified ads at pbnation.com and warpig.com and pick something up there. You can get great deals on used gear, I got my 'cocker and bushmaster collectively, with a nitro tank, Freak barrel, and hopper for far less than $500 (of course, I bought the Bushmaster from a guy who said it had a blown solenoid, and it turned out (like I thought it would) that he had ripped his wires out and simply misplaced them when he tried to put them back). If you know anything about markers, you can score lots of "broken" ones and fix 'em up pretty easily and make 'em nice.

i use a cocker, but have seen the bushys in action yes you can lay paint but that 8nt no good when the person with the cocker steps out shoots two balls at ya both perfectly straight and on target, there is a stigma re rate of fire, but in my humble opinion rate dont mean **** unless you are back player, id choose acuracy any day plus saves you paint lol like the other lad says get the cocker then if you want to go technical later get eblade frame or race frame ? or even the centre flag uprising 2.0 which is a budget electic frame but is good never the less :)

**** man, I got a 2003 vert. cocker for sale between 400 and 450. It has a hing double trigger, alot better than the old slide triggers if you ask me. New stock reg. that I just put on like the other day and has a freak jr. barrel on it with two inserts. Drop foward with a macro line too. On the note about the guns. I would say a cocker is better just because of its accuracy, but you have to deal with the timing on a cocker. That is the guns only real flaw.

wow still this bull**** about accuracy....bushy's are just as accurate as cockers, i've tried both and there is very little between them. They are both excellent markers. you gotta try them for yourself before you can make an informed descision.

BM2k all the way and if you can get an Eclipse LCD version even better. Lightest marker i've ever used and only got rid of mine cos it didn't have vision.
