Cocker trouble

well, 9 times out of 10 (the very ocaisional gun will work, but its rare ) they make the balls jump out of the feed tube, which obvioulsy wont help the gun feed ;) mainly due to mechanical timing over electric.

basicaly like Marc0 said, putting a jet engine in a mini, it may work, but prob not very well and cause problems.

as a rule now we only fit them to Electro cockers ( unless the customer REALY wants them  )

If you don't mind taking the time to answer: how does the action of the ram (when affected by the QEV's) make the balls jump?

stan my guess is that the ram opens faster resulting in blowback because the valve chamber hasnt completely dumped.....you should be fine to leave the qev fitted to the rear of the ram....this would close the ram faster and shoulding cause a prob.
have you tried that Brian? im just going on an educated guess

another thing to check is the bolt length..........with your hand (and the marker ungassed) pull the back block back and check that you cant see the bolt down the feed neck....get a finger in there and make sure that the bolt when fully retracted is about 1-2mm clear of the feed....if you have it set too close you risk chopping as the ram closes.
