well if its so easy why don't you do it planet are probably the best around for helping out their customers. look at the ego and the way they have found some small problems and solved them and supplied the upgrades for free.
The software can cost a lot of money to develop, perhaps this is why planet arent doing it.
the option is there to upgrade to the zero b board, and in my opinion, its worth it.
