As some of you may know I've been having all sorts of probs with my Eclipse Cocker.

Think I have now found what is causing it, just don't know how to fix it :)

Below is what I read and tried, and the result I had.

Upon looking at their forums I found this.

"Do the following- Get air (I am hoping you are using a N2 system and not co2) Gas your gun up fire like 2 shots with no paintballs/hopper on.

Then SLOWLY pull the trigger and watch the steps of the gun. There should be 3 steps you see and they are these

1- About 1/3 of the way through your trigger pull the gun should fire.

2- About 2/3 of the way through your trigger pull the gun should put the back block all the way back to recock the paintball marker.

3. You pull rest of way and release and the back block moves forward."

I have done this, now the problem I have is about a third of the way through the trigger pull it does fire, but it also recocks and puts the backblock to the back position at the exact same time it fires.... I take it this is wrong!!

Any help, to stop me going insane is appreciated :)

Is it going to be a 2 minute thing for someone that knows what there doing?

Nearest place to me to get this done is Manchester (Planet).

Seems a long drive for something if its quite easy, but if its too difficult guess I'll have no choice.

Cheers

did you buy the gun direct from planet the you should get a free service, unless it needs new parts and it's not heir fault it hppened. if you give planet a bell then you can just post it to them (that is, if your happy having your baby put through the post)

Yeah mate, I spoke to Jack and he said send it down and as long as it doesn't need parts it will just cost the postage.

Problem is he can't look at it until the 13th January as he is stowed off... and have games on both the 11th & 12th :(

Gonna have to try and figure it out before that, or not play the first training days of the season :(

If all else fails I'll have to just send it down there for then and borrow a marker :)

Cheers anywho

Lo Dicky me old m8 :)

Hope your tourney life is going well :)

Have given up with the cocker now trying to sort it myself... it be getting me well frustrated, and have looked at it that much over the past week I think I'm at the stage of doing more harm than good :)

Going to admit defeat and hope Andy@Pheonix will be able to take a look at it for me on Saturday :) fingers crossed.

Damn cockers!! :) Frustrating thing is it will probably take 10 minutes to sort and I'll never have a problem again :)

My Mini does the same, personally I don't mind it, timeing is very close and it tends to blow a little gas up the feed neck. three ways you can adjust this, 1 is with the 3 way, 2nd is your lug
and 3rd depends on if you have an adjustable sear. The lug is your best bet, look at the top of your sight rail, hopefully there will be a timeing hole drilled about 1.25 in back from feed neck
if so remove your bolt and useing a long hex key (size ?) turn
lug 1 turn out, cock gun useing cocking rod and pull trigger.
ifgun won't cock lug was set right, turn back in and you will have to adjust with 3 way. if gun cocked an fired turn out half turn and try again, repeat until gun will not cock, then turn in half to 3/4
turn, install bolt and try rapid fire if lug fails to catch the odd time
adjust lug another 1/4 turn in.
