Tell you what Woodsta I've got to switch this thing off now if you are still stuck call me on 01536761383 and we can sort it out over the phone it may prove to be easier, later mate
I believe I'm a weeee but late here but I feel the need to throw my $0.02 in ...
Sounds to me from what you're describing, you don't have a threaded timing rod and the little tiny allen screws that hold the collar in place came loose. If you were just to retime, that should solve the problem.
Don't just go out and buy a new 3-way right out. if you can't solve it your self, take the thing to an air smith and see if he or she can's solve the problem first.
Guci mate , i've looked in the three way afterhaving to disemble half the marker!!, i can look straight tho the smallest piece, 3 way thing and there is nothing that attaches anything to anything, the rod which when you pul the trigger, and it pulls the metal bar forward with the 2 allen key smally screws on the end, that is completely loose, and i took the three way thing of and i can look straight thro it, no sign of any o ring or anything, it would have to be a small o ring anyway! any more stuff you know!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!
Even on the old style evolutions, it's not the new type??
But there are definatly no o-rings,
I noticed it was very cold, very cold, C02 run, so could i of frozen the 0-rings at all??
Maybe but they wouldn't have disintegrated I don't think, perhaps your three way is a type thats different to mine, you say that the two allen screws connecting the actuating rod to the three way shaft were lose maybe it was just a case of re tightening them and setting the timing up again, tis an odd one though
Just a rod with two raised grooves to accept the o rings(tiny o rings)if you take the rod out there is nothing else inside except the three holes for the air/co2 pipes.
