Bet you used to shoot Angels!!
Different buyers, have different strateys. Many paintballers are borne upgraders, they simply can't help them selves.

Egos, E2s, Angels, (all british made guns), see, to be made to a quality that you don't need to upgrade them. For a lot of players this is a huge selling point, i think this has been one of the fundimental strenths of Angels along with their inherent build quality.

Timmys, Spyders, Regualr cockers, Tippmans, all seem to be more geared toward the 'upgrader'.

With the contrast kits, and the constant software upgrades (and i'm sure we'll see some more hardware upgrades from Planet sometime soon...) the Ego is starting to appeal to an 'upgrader' like myself.

"You're saying the Ego has more upgrades available than anything else? That statement is flat out rediculous.

"How many alternate boards are out for the Ego? How many LPRs? Are a lot of aftermarket companies making feednecks? I challenge you to find me one non-Eclipse Ego grip.

"They are nice guns, in fact, the next gun I buy is likely to be one, but upgrades? There are next to none. Its been out for less than a year."

Ok yes your correct in the statement , but considering the ego has been on the market for around 6/8 months and look at the upgrades available ,ie star frame , star trigger, venture bolt, 2 x grips col kits, etc you must agree planet are working on the upgrades all the time, give this marker as long as the cocker has had on the market , then there will be prob just as many upgrades .

As for the Cocker i still think they are a top marker . but the ego has really took the market by storm .

Gyro: you meant to quote me, I think. I am adding quotation marks so that someone can tell more easily where my comments leave off and yours begin.

We've got both on the team.

If ramping stays for good it doesn't really matter what you shoot. When i've shot both i tended to notice the Ego drop off a bit more than the cockers do. (Thats probably a personal thing though having shot cockers for the last 3+ years)

However if we go back to semi only (please god!) then the ego would be my first pick. I've never been able to pick up a shooter and rip the way i did with my mates brand new ego. Its juts flat out canes the paint down field!

I would say ego - mainly for the less hastle point of view - Egos are just stupidly fast and light - cockers have a gorgeous trajectory on them being a closed bolt marker.

but Egos are holding their value heaps more than cockers at the moment
