As long as you wind it - the mini reg - all the way down before you gas it up you'll be fine. Then just turn it up slowly until you get to good velocities.

In fact Dark Cockers have used the LCD reg recently, so it must work pretty well!

I have my A.I.R sitting at 350 just now as the reg i have on my gun doesn't work properly, but the A.I.R keeps creeping up as you're not ment to set it that low.:(

If I put the LCD reg and screwed it all the way in would I be able to set my A.I.R to say 500-600 and would the reg keep the pressure going into the gun at 350 or would I be picking bits of it out of my face?

As Beaker said but SFL should be most efficient around 250-275. It's also rather handy to be able to check output pressures with a gauge, either on gun or before you put reg on. You'd be amazed how many "crap" cockers are perfectly fine except for incorrect operating pressures somewhere along the line.

Baca,

Hell yeah, I know of VERY few cocker users that have actually taken their time to set up all their regs correctly. They'll take their grip frame apart but never bother to set their regs up.

However, I don't buy the whole things about starting at certain "reccomended" pressures. I think you should always set a gun up with the chrono as that tells you the correct pressure with all the gun's individual things like spring tension/hammer weight/valve flow etc etc.. Fine use a gauge after to go back to the right point quickly but not aim for a pressure in the first place.

Ok Would This Work.

Would this work.

1. Put the angel reg on.
2. Dial the angel A.I.R output down to 250-275psi.
3. Unscrew the angel reg all the way "out".
4. Chrono the gun so its firing nice (275fps).
5. Screw the angel reg all the way "in".
6. turn the angel A.I.R output up to 500-600psi.
7. Slowly unscrew the angel reg out until the velocity reaches 275fps again?

how about it?
