Balls tend to roll about in the breach on cockers, see if putting it on an Upward angle improves it.

That was Belsales solutution as i had consistancy issues with my pro series

Yeh i tried that....no difference.

The stock inline reg on the 04 is not great and goes up and down like a nun's knickers.

I got the evolution kit on my 04 but im running the stock inline reg and my chrono is up and down just like you getting, that why im getting a Custom Products Reg for my 04 in the next few weeks

The black magic reg? It's the same one thats on the nexus and from what i know it's a damn good reg.

the black magic reg is a nice reg and you should be getting a better fps then that, so as someone said it could be the barrel you using.

My pro series came with a Kaner 689. and it was fcuking awful

Best thing i did was get rid of that barrell - i had major consistancy problems with it til i changed to a freak and it was much better

i know - read afterwards and almost reconsidered what i put, but ironically it was heaps better - used blue 689. insert and still made heaps loadsa difference.

Wont touch a freak with a bargepole now

if your paint to barrel match is fine and your getting crono problems then it might be your reg/paint or just general cocker issues.

My cocker is not that good over the crono consistancy wise but in streams of paint its fine.

You say that but I've had 2 Freak sets now and both of them were perfectly good. I was as surprised as you.
I wouldn't go out and buy a new one because they do seem to be a bit hit and miss, but the ones I've used have been really top quality.

As above tho, first thing I'd wonder about it paint/barrel match, but if your paint is a bad batch that won't help much either.
