Nothing breaking up into the feedneck or the hopper itself...

The bolt is still lined up perfectly I think, only a tiny part of it is visible when cocked, which is how I was told to time it, never had any problems with it before so I assume thats right :) correct me if I'm wrong :)

What is the shelf life of paint? Off the top of my head the paint I am using I think I have had for about six months in a cupboard... could this be the problem??

It appears to be breaking just in front of the breach from what I can see, just at the point where the barrel is screwed in.

Any more help appreciated

Cheers

Dave
i was told the bolt should be set back a bit when cocked, this could be why as the bolt is breaking the ball, also is there any rough edges on the bolt:confused:

No rough edges at all on the bolt... have removed it, taken off all the grease, and relubed it with Dow 33.

Anyone else confirm/dispute if the bolt should be slightly visible when looking down the feed neck?

Gonna try it in the morning with a different barrel I think, and see if I have the same problem :)

Cheers

Will check the detent in the morning... if it ain't this, the barrel or the paint looks like my baby is going for a trip to Pheonix to see Andy :)

Okay guys, tried my marker again this morning... cleaned out the ball detent, tried a different barrel and some new paint

Still had the same problem, I can manually feed balls into the feed neck, cock the gun, then blow down the feed neck, and the ball comes wizzing out no problems, without even needing to gas it up...

Fired it again this morning, all seemed to go well for about 30-40 shots, then wham... was rapid firing and about 5-6 balls got stuck in the breach!! doh

Can't seem to find anything that can be causing the problem :(

Looks like its off to a techy to look at unless anyone has any more ides?? :)

Cheers

Dave
