I find sadness and hurt mainly.

Anyone have a eclipse back to compare the threads with?

lol, ok

look at your pictures. on your old barrel it has about 2 cm of metal, then the thread, then a fewmm /1 cm of metal, then the thick bit of barrel comes in.
on the shaft. it has 2 cm of metal, then the thread, then the thick barrel straight away, which means the thread cant screw on any further

Brian...are you aware of any barrels the evo doesn't take?

No it doesn't John, just my crap photography. Theres about 2mm on the shaft 4/5 on the olde, from the thread to the barrel.

I'm just starting to think that they're not cocker threaded, as I just proper tried to force one in. Turned about another 180 like but the black coating on the threads started to fall off. looks like I'm mish mashing it.

Right I was just thinking, f it, lefts get this on. So I proper went for it, nearly broke me wrist like. But I've managed to get one on.

Nowwwww I'm thinking aclipse have just made the diameter across with the thread a bit bigger then the evo is used to. Well it's in and I shaved off the uneeded metal. Now for the other inserts!

wah hay, thanks for your help.

:D

Cheers for that tip skeet, made the 2nd back a bit easier to get in and I think the barrels a bit more maleuable as they've both cut to the block thread.

Shame I don't have any tools really, my hands are hurting too much to try the 3rd back. It's gonna happen friday when the blisters have gone.

gloves...yes I know now.

Cheers again for all help!
