The fact that you use CO2 at your site will not do anything to your health lung wise (unless a bottle explodes and takes your torso with it).
The only danger to you lungs by using the gas around you is that if the air gets so much CO2 in it that your bronchioles (lungs) can't absorb enough oxygen into your blood stream.
If you're filling bottles, then no CO2 should escape anyway, and when you're firing your markers, so little CO2 comes out, it couldn't possibly affect your lungs anyway.
To be honest, i doubt it's even possible to drown yourself in CO2 if you're outside, because the CO2 has a different density to air (which is mostly nitrogen) and therefore, it will sink to the ground, and disperse.
