Basically I know about 10 people who are all up for gettin all our own gear as one of them owns a farm (or his dad does lol) and creating our own space in abit of woodland. With hideouts obstacles etc. Im very new to it and rather interested in all the appealing gear thats available. Eg I like the higher end egos . Dye masks and rotor hoppers. Still got plenty of research and knowledge to learn though. Only been once myself :( but I want to have the experience with mates and not with a crap setup :) :)
Do be careful about how you all go about playing off site
The land owner and the organiser both instantly become liable for anything that happens - even if it is all among friends
Note that farms are not private land, they are businesses and other members of the public access farmland as part of the farm business
People may also trespass - however the fact that hey should not be there does not prevent liability of something happening to them because of the activity you are doing
(And dog walkers / ramblers feel they have the right to be wherever they go - and if people have been walking dogs or rambling in the past without regularly being chased off then they do have an element of right, and certainly more right if it comes to you having shot one)

The two absolute essentials are to prevent access during gameplay and to run chronos on everyone

Make some signs, ideally put up boundary netting, failing that out up boundary tape.
Make sure signs cover all potential paths that are nearby the area, and that boundary tape is outside of the range of paintballs from the areas you will play. Preferably have 2 boundary lines, (play zone and out of range) and put the signs around the boundary at regular intervals)

i disagree with this post yes it can help in ways but if your just looking to buy a marker its a bit silly :L
its a FORUM you do realise? Not ebay. The classifieds part is a FREE service this forum puts on for you. All we ask is you stick to the few rules we have. Sorry, why is it silly? You could always take yourself to gumtree pal, no silly conversations there.

Though you are outside of the uk and may no think much of the content is applicable nor that you can contribute due to geographics, but you can make up the numbers of posts by:

Standard introduction to yourself, where you are, your paintball experience etc
Information on paintball in your country - what is the paintball scene like, what are the options suchs as 'punter/rentals', walkons, tournaments, scenario, unusual sites or one off events there have been.
What are the legalities, is it well organised or are there offworld/private sites
What could we expect as a tourist? Could anyone on holiday pack their gear and join a walkon etc

What would realy be of interest to me is some information for 'what paintball costs'
I already have a thread on this which goes through the green fee/event ticket and paint prices for typical uk paintball. It would be interesting to get a world comparison
