But...when the water was mostly gone the next day, the mud made sliding insane and AWESOME for the players, crowds, and cameramen!

So mud is good for an event? Maybe we should get the hoses out and water down fields....
Actually some of the BEST EVER sliding I have seen was by Russian Legion after it rained at Toulouse. It was the first time I had seen people really belly slide and these guys were doing huge (maybe 7-8 metre) slides along their bellys into the 50's and then standing up at the end of the slide shooting...
It was so cool to watch! But there was no mud.... just nice wet grass.
