First off i have several guns that would be in budget for him to choose from best would be an 05 ego or a Proto PMR but there are a few that are cheaper

As for other gear

A steely bottle is about £40

And for gods sake i hope he already has a good mask.

First rule of paintball purchases buy a good mask firs,t best you can afford so your not upgrading later.
If he doesnt i suggest you go to your local store and try some on to see what he likes. I personally love my I4s but they are expensive.
