They had said they were going to be using "guns" adapted to fire paintballs...they weren't conversions they are made like that with a chain type feed that feeds from a vertical magazine just like a "real" assault rifle, I saw the prototype (with full auto enabled  ) at the last woodland Mayhem, it also came with an option to have a "hopper" of kinds slung under the barrel. So not new technology. Don't you think the girl did well.......not! $4000 wasted eh? The name Tagline for the maker/model seems to ring a bell with me somehow.

I caught a glimpe of it in the background, & thought it looked more like airsoft to me! Note that though many of the players were wearing goggle systems, they didn't quite look like any make that I recognised & the guy overseeing them was just wearing Uvex goggles or something similar. Also, the size of the bruises was far too small to have been caused by .68 paintballs! Maybe they were using those little .5 balls they make for use with the kiddies markers (the ones that look lkike supersoakers) or those megasplat electronic powered "executive toy" paintball guns.

The other thing was that they seemed to have handuns too...I've seen the Real Action Markers before, but never anything like that before (the handguns, anyway).
