changing cocker body

i have a '96 evo classic right hand feed cocker and i want tp purchase the wgp 2003 body, but a good friend of mine (ericostani) says that they have shorter bodies, so does this mean it wont fit or do i have to buy any other stuff.

if the bolt is stock them u definatly need a new bolt, dunno bout anything else tho, look at planet anything that has to options like pre 2k and post 2k probably mens that part comes on 2 different sizes ie u need a new one of....

im pretty sure, all evo parts are custom sizes, ie only fit evo parts.....except3 way lpr ram etc, so the bolt may not fit, also if its small u will need new cocking rod etc

apart from the body kit ie body, front block, back block, the only part that is a different size is the bolt

almost right, but not quite.

you will also need a new semiblock screw as the pre-2k ones are smaller.
and as you'ver been told, a new bolt.

also, its likely u dont have a standard velosity adjuster in there, so the new body will need a hole or 2 drilled.

all the other parts are tranferable, but, unless its been serviced in the last few years, you need a few seals and springs as well while you are at it.

also, unless you are VERY up on your cocker teching, changeing a body oper isnt something you want to do yourself

yup had thought of that but if he is buying the wgp kit it has the semi block included

look a little closer mate u dont get the screw with the kit. silly i know, but its a seperate item.
