Sigh people who know nothing about the games industry
, there are more PS2 activly played and game sales around the world than the current generation, that includes xbox360 and PS3 it was only around Christmas time in 2007 that Xbox360 overtook PS2 profits, but in terms of games played and sold, PS2 is still ahead hence why the big compaines like EA sports still makes fifa games for the PS2
Yup, what he said. The only new gen console that sells (really) well is the Wii. But that one caters to a totally different market.
PS3's are being sold with little to no profit for the manufacturer. This is no problem as long as they sell games for it, since everybody that makes a game for the PS3 has to give a little of the money made off of it to Sony.

why would they release a game on ps2 and not on ps3 wii or xbox though i dont need any knowledge about the gaming industry to understand that it doesnt make any senseSigh people who know nothing about the games industry
They do, its multiformat, and they still release on PS2 because they are making a profit :| what is so hard to understand about that
understand im not saying they shouldnt release it on ps2 im saying they wouldnt release it on just ps2 and none of the latest consoles on the market
