Hovid have only been producing paint for a little over a year now. they had teething problems and for a while their paint was watery because the 'starch' used to thicken the fill also stained and left a white residue, so they took it out. This has been sorted now with a starch substitute, so i hear. We use hovid site paint at my work and the latest batch (today's!) was very good. Nice shell, nice fill. TC from Hovid gave me a box of Celtic tourney paint to try out: there are 2 qualities... a marbalised one colour shell which is quite fragile and a more durable 2 tone shell. They are currently shipping paint with a winter shell but also do a summer shell..guess what... in the summer!
They welcome feedback from customers and are constantly adapting their ball to suit customers needs. If you're at the PA league this weekend theres no need to buy in advance and pay shipping as TC will be there selling it from the lorry.
