NIce, I did contemplate buying a 996 but there are too many horror stories which have dramatically reduced their 2nd hand prices-usually for a good reason.

E60 M5 next i think :)
well i have had my cayman for 2 years now, i hardly put any miles on it mind but never had one problem apart from stone chips. What drive me insane as i seem to pick them up no matter how careful i drive.

EELZ i must agree swe_crazy that is a stunning fairlady you have there (y)

Nothing sexy here sadly. Have had this one for 10 years but only clocked up 55k on it - VW Bora 1.8T Sport, ....and that's the exciting one

Other family wagon is a Skoda Octavia 1.6FSI

Well, i've just bought myself a Honda CR-V.

It's not new but it's very clean and tidy. I spent many months deliberating what to buy and went from one extreme to another, I considered hot hatchbacks, estates cars, 2 cars, converted day vans (didn't want to look like a pikey though) and eventually decided on the CR-V as it was the only thing which ticked nearly all the boxes.

big enough for 5 people
boot big enough for a weekend of luggage
not too sore on fuel
ability to fit in with other hobbies ie paintball, mountain biking and quadcopter flying
intelligent 4wd is a nice addition, i'll never need full low range boxes or anything like it. Have been driving cars for 18 years and never once been stuck anywhere in any weather.

Same as this one, plans are to add a couple of roof rails, boot liner, couple of skid plates and maybe side step rail things. Will possibly change the headlights to something LED and things like the number plate lights, interior cabin lights will also get swapped out.

This is the new family car so will get a few outings next year across the water all being well.
