Can you add a Vertical Feed to a power feed shocker. I havn't seen a power feed shocker but I'm in the process of buying one. Can you just remove the power feed and apply a vertical one. I'm just confused to the body differences between a power feed and a vertical feed. The one I'm buying has air assit on it and according to Smart Parts this places the hopper a bit more centrally to the body. Is this true.

Hi Rob

The Power feed replaces the right hand feed on the standard shocker body, it basically screws into the same hole and like you state centers the hopper over the center of the marker.

If you want a vert feed then you have to swap the bodies from the standard body (with/without power feed) to a vert feed body these are quite expensive i think they are over £200 plus the VAT. The internals are the same it just a straight swap. There is a guy in the USA who will convert the standard shocker body to a vert feed but i dont know the price and you can wait anything up to 7 months for it to done.

Your best bet is to try and find a second hand vert feed (ive just had one of E-Bay) or look for a vert feed shocker to buy. The power feed is very good it just make the hopper a little higher

cheers
