If you're playing tourny ball you'll need
1. Highish end electro marker (Angel LED/LCD, Bushmaster, cocker which can be upgraded). There are plenty of Angel's on the classifieds section of this forum at the moment going for very low prices. There's also a tasty silver bushmaster

2. Electro hopper - Evolution2 (eggs) / Halo B / X boarded revolution. You could pick up an x boarded revvie on the forums for about £25 and, unless you're the fastess fingered beginner ever, you won't need anthing faster for a while.
3. Mask - lots of different shapes and sizes, ask around and get opinions on these.
4. Air - air is a bitch, a decent sized tank (1.1l +) with a preset regulator will cost you about £100(second hand) depending on the quality of the reg.
5. A decent barrel(if the one on your marker isn't good enough) - DYE boomsticks/ freak kits are the preferred choice among most tourny players. The freaks are especially nice because you can buy inserts for them to alter the bore size for using smaller/larger paint. You're talking £40 second hand for a boomy and £60 for a freak with no inserts.
That's really all you'll need to actually play, you don't NEED cleats, pads and specifically designed pball pants to play tourny ball but you'd probably aim to get them at some point.
