What would you classify as an obvious location then. Apart from the gogs.

surely though you would be given the chance to check when you've made it to the bunker. Looking down in mid break to check for a paint hit can put off players. Loss of balance comes to mind (well for me anyway :D) the said player had only just started the run when the marshall got infront of and pulled him.

if he has just started then he should be pulled straight away, if he's mid run then if he knows its a hit he should justrun off the field, if he cant see it then get into your bunker and check, if the marshall sees you get hit on the break or on a run he will pull you as fast as possible as alot of players would realise they have been hit and then go on a mugging run

The player was in the middle of the run, inbetween original bunker and the t bag. I can understand the part of the marshall pulling the guy straight away, but then the 1-4-1 i dont understand. The tigers young guns needed the win to go through. This decision could have cost them it.

well as i didnt see it i cant comment, but if he got shot and then acted as if he didnt notice and was going to carry on playing/dive to wipe the hit then the marshall may have done it, as with paintball you never hear 2 sides of the story (well, rarely) so cant comment, so my advice is forget it/get better:D

we had some wierd calls to, for instance front player in mid air dive into snake gets clipped on gogs and for finishing his move (unable to freeze time and stop) slides into bunker before he can get up he is 1-4-1 . another a back player whilst Zoning gets hit on the underside of his bottle again !-4-1 for playng on . What is this all about are we as players starting to be seen as an easy money making market and do judges really think we will forget.

We on a Few Good Men

Had no problems with any of the reffing. Sure we had a few dubious calls and witnessed some teams shall we say "bending the rules against us" but at the end of the day you got to take it on the chin and suck it up for next time. Sometimes calls from the side lines look odd but 99% of the time the marshall has a good reason/ sees something you don't and there you go. We had good and bad games on all the fields, but really i don't think a few calls alter much. Its all very well saying if that player had walked then then we would have won etc etc etc, but at the end of the day you've just got to go out there and practise and practise some more until it don't matter how ****e the marshalling is you can still win.

Anyway if you marshalled campaign on behalf of my team thankyou for giving up your spare time to take needless welts, hordes of abuse and generally be looked down upon as the lowest form of life. ;)

....perhaps you guys can also ponder the following...

...team 'A' goes out and convincingly wins their game...praises the refs for doing an outstanding job...

....team 'A' convincingly gets their a$$e$ handed to them the next time their on the same field...they berate the refs for being $hit and biased...blah...blah...blah

...the number of times this happened over the weekend I lost count...

...and everyone complains about marshalling inconsistency...

...something to ponder...me thinks...

Thank you for your comments on that game, it did cost us the chance for sunday club, but it was our last chance out of many.

Just to clear a small fact the player was shot on the top/back of his shoulder as he made the move, not the easiest place to check. But it is over now, we live and we learn. :)
