Campaign: Out of town hotels?

Just wondering who had booked into any out of town hotels for next weekend's event in Basildon? Obviously all the nearby hotels are full up (seemingly mainly by hippies from the folk festival ) and we're going to get a hotel a bit out of town and drive in each day.

Simply wondering if anyone else had done that and if so which hotels they were at so we could potentially get a bit of paintball atmosphere back at the hotel as well in the evenings etc

Booked my room there a couple days ago, they still had rooms available and it wasn't so expensive as in Basildon.

as an additional incentive - I can offer 3 seats in a car going everyday from the hotel to the site.

Not at all buddy, more the fact that I don't actually know you and was wondering if there was anywhere cheaper mainly

Cheers Spike, a mate of mine recommended that one to me yesterday actually just wondering how easy it'd be to cram extra people into rooms We've had a whole 7 man team + pit crew in one travelodge room before, not sure how easy stuff like that would be in a family run hotel like that

8Ball, my room is 45 pounds per night for a single, I'm sure the rates for twin suites are much better. But it's still less than 75 pounds. That's basically what's keeping me from booking in Basildon since I had to book a car anyway to make my way around.

Those staying in Southend have the delights of the arcades plus a number of clubs and pubs and of course Adventure Island! More than the festival park to be fair but no discounts unfortunately.
