Campaign DVD trailer going live!

Well, what a let down. We have waited this long and this is the trailer they deliver.

It looks like the editor has just found the effects pallet. The wipes and transitions are awful and take away from what looks like a decent standard of footage and gameplay. The edits are barely on the beat. All this trailer does is distract the viewer, stopping any kind of enjoyment as another wipe takes away any hope of recognition.

Its a real shame that the UK is yet to produce a decent tournament dvd. The sport is at a fantastic point for it to be showceased, all this film has done is let it down.

Hmmmm.

It's not bad, but it's not making me reach for my wallet either. I'll probably have a butchers of someone elses first before I decide whether or not to part with my hard earn'd.

Hermitt - remember this is only the trailer.

Personally, I am looking forward to the full release when it's done. Please don't judge just yet - give it a chance - you may even love the finished article.

A trailer is the major advertising tool for any film/dvd mate
There is not enough in that trailer to hook you
and leave you begging for more, it's just too gimmicky
I've got a new toy, let's play syndrome

Don't get me wrong DW - I agree totally. But I wouldn't base my judgement of the whole DVD on one trailer.

For example, I didn't like Euroball III at all (for reasons already stated elsewhere) - although I do like (and still watch) the Euro 5-man. Each to their own I guess ;).

Its not a new trailer as such so sorry for confusion- its been moved to a new location. Raffles has just been posting the link onto forums all over and just copied and so inserted the same message into all the forums.

As for the Campaign logo- we can only work with what we are given. The title of the final film is going to be something different anyway, just wanted to get word out that a Campaign DVD is actually happening. Have no fear the final film, as with our previous 2, will be flashy but controlled...
