Well the Annerly/Penge/Crystal Palace area has never exactly been known for it's class & decorum. The old Crystal Palace Hotel was renowned for gangs & fighting right back to WW11, & I don't think the area has changed that much in the intervening 60 odd years! At least the locals are used to people throwing up in their front yards

There are loads of good bars and restaurants in CP and Croydon is just down the road - even more bars restaurants, beer, women, fighting etc
