Bit disappointing that several vendors aren't there but the ones that are there from what I saw yesterday have a nice selection of stuff.
And Spike has Nxe and Tippman gear in the Draxxus stand. (He also has Monty Python playing which we all enjoyed yesterday afternoon lol)
The Eclipse tent is much larger than last year. In fact its the largest one there. Absolutely huge with a wide range of their gear. (Thanks to Michelle for rooting around out back for the backpack I wanted btw =)
But yep agreed that its a shame that the other companies are not there. It seems slightly smaller than last year to me but that might be because this year everything is more spread out and mostly in one long strip unlike last years tighter lane.
Food is greatly improved from last year. Two Ice Cream vans (overcharging for soft drinks I might add) a beer tent (bugger Im driving grr) two or three (I forget) hot food trailers.....not dodgy burger vans but big Funfair style ones. (Curly fries are great) And there's a milkshake vendor who is also selling chilled bottles of water and can's for £1 for a huge bucket. (Can't miss this stand its a huge inflatable.)
Toilets......a large number of portaloo's behind the Funfair ride. Be aware that when I was there yesterday some smart arse decided to use a coin to lock them all so there were several people waiting like true brits lol for non-existent people to come out. So knock and check if no one comes out after a while.
Overall I'd say its good, (not there today Im going back tomorrow....Im on nappy duty today) and has been drastically improved in some area's (food, loo's, layout) but needs improvement in other area's (more vendors attending)
Score B- (Good effort all round, must try harder)
