Campaign Cup - Favourite Field

I am interested to know what fields people liked at the campaign cup.

I personally really liked the Raven field and disliked the Angel field.

I agree completely with that, although we didn't play fields 6 & 7.

Well I loved the Tomahawk field, mostly cos the way it was set out reminded me a bit of the round field at Temple (the original one, noe the 2nd rate copy whch appeared there a while after the 1sy one had gone).

The thing i didn't like about the tomahawk field was how badly anchored some of the barricades were.

Oh c'mon, this is not a good discussion. I wanna know WHY you liked the fields (although Flash hinted at it already).
I also liked the Tomahawk field. It had sort of a diamond shape, which meant very little cover in the back. Aggressive play was almost forced on you. Also, that big teepee in the middle was so obviously a prime bunker, that frantic batttles were fought over it. Great set up. Hated the colours though....
The Draxxus field was fly too. Very low bunkers at the middle back, again promoting aggressive play. I have seen a number of backguys go into that low lying down thing in the middle back, and they couldn't really do anything useful. That big X in the middle made it possible to get long breaks up the middle. Great stuff.

i really didnt like any of the fields in the stadium and by the staging area... i thought the 2 best fields were the jt and smart parts fields cos of the little forests of wingnuts and other random barricades on the tapes!

For me

The JT Field and the Modulus field.

I guess they felt like the fields I am used to, back bunkers and front bunkers and you could move around on them.

I didn't play the Angel field, but having seen it, I am glad. Though I guess I enjoyed the games where I was allowed to play up front, guess I can't cut it at the back these days...

I loved the Angel field lots of hidden angles,the w on the tape was ace.

Well we only played the SP and Tomahawk feilds once each but won on them each time so I liked them because of that. Didn,t get to play the Modular feild and we got our asses whooped on the Raven feild so I don't like that. The Draxxus feild was ok but I did like the Angel field because of the the way the big lay down A and tripple A were situated on one tape which meant very aggressive play was a must to try to control those (it also led to some funny moments when a player from either side was in there but neither of them knew about the other one).

C'mon C'mon

When i first wanted people's opinions I was concerned that this might just end up like a moaning thread like last year's "i thought the campaign cup fields were too small". So i was happy to keep it light-hearted.

True enough the discussion was not exactly useful.

I loved the big hole on one side of the Raven field and the two massive middle barricades made for good games.

More fool us but two of our players got shot through the holes in the join of the L barricades on the angel field.

We played the Tomahawk field three times with my first barricade being one off the big teepee. Unfortunatley i went on the break once going in. The issue I have with that field was how much the barricades rocked about. What were they weighted down with?

The Draxxus field. I never thought i would be able to squezze into one of those teepee's wit the tops cut off but i did and it was fun.
