In reply to the question how much does a tournament DVD cost, well its a bit of a how longs a piece of string question. To us its based more on what we want to do with the money than how much it'll all cost.

For Warren's tournament we budgeted £22k to make the finished film but its going to come in for less than that- however you look at it thats a fair amount of DVDs that need ot be sold to cover the costs. We could spend 100K plus if we knew it would sell enough.

Thing is we intentionally set out with having a go at making the best damn paintball DVD we could, something that will sit alongside the best ever made- if we fail we fail but we set our sights that high because you guys who buy it deserve somethig for your money. My personal feelings is that a lot of the films I've seen are lazy, cheap or made by people who, although they understand paintball, don't know how to structure a good film.

The Euro 5 Man is taking shape nicely- saw the first finished 10min of game footage today and it is quite simply phenomonal. It is up there with the best and, without bigging ourselves up too much, is hopefully going to propel us firmly into the demands of the major tournaments. Anyone got the phone number of the Campaign Cup? :)

Just an idea, and you probably already have thought of it, but have you included a load of games after the features of the DVD as extras? would be cool, and good to watch,

Unfortunately being our first film on a tight budget and a new tournament its pretty much going to be feature-free as we simply cannot afford the cost of adding them all. The process of DVD making is a costly one but we are putting all these ideas together fr future releases when hopefully we have more money, more time and, well, even more money!

If anyone kmnows anybody who organises major tournaments who dont have DVDs, then put em in touch with us- we are certainly looking to move forward in the next year and cover more tournies everywhere!

Hell, at this rate, I might even take up playing someday :)
