Guys,u r the gods of air filling stations, the millenium organisers would do good to take a leaf(or 2) out of your book or just move over and let u guys run the air 4 the millenium series!no waiting, nice slow fills and just 1 or 3 trying to unplug b4 venting(they will learn!),thanks for the sponsorship and hope it carries thru next year, good to be associated with u guys.....job well done....Brian......Top Gun 4 Red Heat:D :D :D

I want to add something as well...as part of my remit sniffing out all those rumours and stories that circulate at these events...I had the opportunity to speak with some of the gun techs at various stands...and guess what...air related problems, especially with dirty or crap filled regulators were zero...

I know of one especially who had a freaking nightmare at DMA with players bringing their guns back time & again and it was always the same problem...dirt or internal damage caused by dirt blasting through the regs. A spec of dust or even a drop of moisture does a lot of damage to a precision machined surface with 4,500psi of pressure behind it...

Unfortunately, and I saw this first hand...players at DMA started getting the "crappy gun - wish I'd never bought it" syndrome...when in actual fact it's got nothing to do with the gun at all. I still find it amazing that people will spend £2K on a paintball gun and then blast crap through it...like buying a ferrari and running it on 2 star... (over 35's may just remember that :) )

So once again guys, my thanks to H-PAC for taking paintball forward by another huge leap and raising the standards yet again.

Great air again guys - have to say I am one of the lucky ones as I have only put H-PAC supplied air through my reg and marker and no problems at all!

With all the horror stories around I am reluctant to attend any event where H-PAC are not supplying the air - surely they shoud be mandatory at all MS and national events ?

I have used the system at the M25 events and again at Campaign. Its brilliant, makes the day much more enjoyable when you aren’t queuing for most of it, so keep up the good work. Let’s hope some one comes up with a system for the chrono tent.;) :D

The loud hissing is caused when some plonker doesn't attach their air system's fill nipple to the air line properly. Most of us know that the collar on the air line (the bit you pull back in order to attach your marker) has to go forwards again to lock the fill nipple onto the air line. The loud pop and hissing happens when the marker is blown off the line as the air is turned on. Another good reason for filling slowly!! Tim & Trev probably mentioned 'extra cost' as they have to replace the o ring in the air line as this causes it to blow. These guys are 100% approachable and if anyone hasn't used the setup it before they're only too pleased to demonstrate what to do. It can also be caused by damaged fill nipples on air systems which are either worn or have been filed to remove burrs. These worn nipples don't lock properly onto the line and the same thing happens, the marker is blown off by the force of the air as it's not locked in place.. So do as i do guys... check your nipples regularly ;) Oh btw... air at CC immaculate! Well done guys

<off topic>

I thought standard unleaded (95 Octane) was 2 star, they just don't call it that because it sounds crap.

Personally I only use Shell Optimax (the only 98 Octane available in England), as my car has a turbo and it doesn't like crap juice.

Perhaps I should try and get sponsorship from them. "Shell Optimax gets you to the event faster" or something.

MMMmmm!

Sounds sensible to me! If you ever need a second opinion Guppy!;)

Sorry:rolleyes: couldn't help it......

H-Pac rule! Paintballers continue to hide their ignorance though by not asking or even reading the very clear instructions when they don't know what they are doing!

Some people! :eek:

It really barely makes the slightest bit of difference between a 95 and a 98 octane. Or at least it will be un-noticable to you and I. You get a small increase in the clean burning, but what you gain in that you will more than spend in monetary terms coz its bout 3p a litre more expensive...

I used to regularly take my bike on track days, and was mates with a couple of the instructors on the 100% Bikes team, and they all said its not worth the extra money all the time. Maybe occasionally to clean the engine out somewhat but still its debatable:D
