No PBUK doesn't charge anyone to feature their dates in the calendar section of the magazine...all they have to do is send them...
The query came about I believe because of the 2004 wall planner which is a separate issue. All the main series organisers were contacted with the same information. Those who responded in time got their dates on...simple. No ulterior motives, no hidden agenda...not "snubbing" anyone now or ever.
I stand 100% by what I said at the launch...we aim to support all paintball at all levels.
...and on a slightly different note...once again boys and girls...this is Matt's playground and the reason I don't play here very often because I don't want to be seen as treading on anyone’s toes...not because I'm basking in a tropical island paradise somewhere. Contrary to popular belief I actually have a lot of respect for Matt so kindly don't abuse his generosity by discussing matters in his forum which possibly don't belong here.
I'm not dead, I do watch the boards and I do note what people say and who says what. The PA has been active as hell over the last few months...if you have issues with or queries about either the Paintball Association or it's magazine then might I suggest you either check out the PA's web site or give us a call? I'm sure it wouldn't kill you, we don't bite...and you could actually save yourself a lot of embarrassment by finding out some facts before you go shooting your mouth off and making a complete arse out of yourself.
'til next time...
