Can u ppl help me with some terminology here?
Chrome moly or alluminium - which is better
Pin valves - I don't have a clue
'Reapeater' - Likewise
On/off switch - seems straight forward but why do i need it
Anti Syphon - That stops liquid CO2 entering you r gun right, but i have an expansion chamber, do i need it?
O-Rings - What are they
If you can help me with anything out of the above or any other help on CO2 you'll help me and many others alike out.

i can maybe answer some of your questions

Pin valve - this is the generally made from brass and fits into the neck of the bottle and then its this part u screw into the adaptor on the marker. In the top of the valve there is a small pin, this basically seals the gas in the bottle when you unscrew it from the fill station or the marker. Most adaptors on a marker have a raised center this pushes on the pin in the valve as you screw it into the marker and releases the gas.

On/off - basically the same as pin valve but has a knob on the side that turns on or off. This gives you more control over the gas in the bottle and is a major improvement over the pin valve

O-Rings - These help seal the bottle once its screwed in to the adaptor or marker . At the top of the valve there is a slight recess before the srew threads, there should be a o-ring there

Anti syphon - is basically a small tube that extends out of the bottom of the valve and what you need is for it to be facing away form the liquid co2. So basically screw your valve into your marker (with out the bottle) so that is allthe way in. Then bend the anti syphon tube up mark the postion of the anti-syphon tube on the valve then screw you bottle on. even if you use a expansion chamber its just a somthing extra preventing liquid Co2 entering your marker

chromolly (chrome) and aluminum- chrome is sronger than aluminum, its just extra durability

but

when u go with the chrome moly u takinu a lot more weight my 9 oz chrome molly weighs the same as my 20 oz aluminum well of course there is a slight difference but the 20 is right there with it. so i would get a 20 oz aluminum tank. whoevr talked bout the durability is definetely right aluminum is cheap and lighter cause it is less material. later man hope this helps.

Dollar for dollar in my opinion would be the Catalina aluminum, good to 3000 psi, reasonable weight but very durable. When they come in for hydrotest no dinks or dents.
