it might work..........

According to a paintball sight that I went to, they were selling "CO2/Compressed Air tanks" Is there anyone who knows if you can use compressed air instead of c02? :(

Compressed Air

You can use compressed air... However it IS more expensive to start up. U can't just go filling 20oz CO2 bottles with air. You need a dedicates air system on each marker. These are normally rated at 3000 or 4500psi and most have adjustable output pressures. The reason they're more expensive is that that system has to step down the pressure in the bottle to a pressure that the marker can handle. Also the bottles have to be stronger that CO2 bottles to bear these high pressures.

ok........?

Ok. Lets see if I got this right. So I would need a stronger tank, and I would need to modify my gun some kind of way? What exactly is a dedicates air system? Is there a web page that I could go to that has info on them, or could you give me the info. Also.....I am buying a coiled remote and the item decription says that it only accepts C02. Why can't they take compressed air? Thanks for answering the questions. :)
