Cool, makes sense I guess. Well hopefully over the next 2 months I will have acquired all my gear and I can get my ass out there.... and most likely handed straight back to me.

Can't really fault you on the marker choice, i've been using an e-tek 1 for a couple of years now and it's been fine, as a team we've just moved onto the vanguard creed which is exceptional but a new one is a bit on the expensive side.

Googles - pretty much as everyone else has said, personal prefernce, see if you can try a few pairs on , another vote for e-vents as I use them and they've never given me a problem.

Although I ahven't used a rotor a couple of team mates have tried them and didn't get on with them, lots of problems with jamming, though other guys in the team swear by them, supposed to be great with battery life. I use a Halo and a reloader b which have both performed well.

I'll need to make my way up to the closest shop this weekend I reckon, I need to get hold of Goggles before anything else. I'd rent a marker over a mask any day.

I think I maybe of totalled 10 minutes of clear view throughout the entire day, last time I went out. Barely humid, totally dry weather too. Screw that.

Cheers I'll check out that site.

Right, I ended up buying a DM9 of a lovely chap on this site... Now I need to buy some Air. I've had a couple of brand suggestions on here already and I thank you again for the input, but I would like some info on exactly what to look for ie what makes a good/bad tank or regulator. There seems to be multiple options for different things, I imagine to suit to what you want to play - if this is the case I wouldn’t mind something fairly versatile

Again cheers for all the help.

A DM9 will work work with any air system mate. If you buy brand new you have the full life of the test it is abit pricey but worth it.

I'm not worried about compatibility, more what to look for in a good air bottle, psi differences, any pitfalls to watch out for etc...

If it holds air its good :thumb::thumb:

On a more serious note Not much can go wrong with one. You can get a High mid and low pressure bottle (But i think its harder to buy a low pressure these days)

http://www.lpspaintball.biz/acatalog/Systems.html any of these will be good. ( Apart from the top one)

Lot of people are using the the Guerrilla Myth Air System i found them abit to small but its upto personal preference
