Anyway, not sure how a paintball could cause a severe enough blood clot for a "rush to hospital" paintball bruises are too near the surface to enter a major enough vessel to cause strife and a hit on a major vessel hard enough to cause a problem would leave you with bigger immediate issues than a blood clot (remember the player with the blood filled giant scrotum)........ a bruise is a bruise, doesn't really matter if you've got one or 15 you could end up with a bruise that needed treatment, but nothing life threatening............ think about it, all those ballers, all these years.............not a single "blood clot" emergency. It's surface damage, when other sportsman get them it's from internal bruising/injury........ we are more at risk from collision than paintballs.
If it is possible for paintballs to cause thrombocis then we should all be wearing full body protection.
Seriously, anyone got any evidence etc... on this? I can't find anything appropriate in any medical texts etc... paintball bruises are pretty specific...... not really been any research I can use.
