i heard today that there was an incident at the pa whereby a lad was mugged by a player with a ramping gun and was shot ni on point blank in his head (15 times) and was later taken to hospital with suspected Blood clot ????

is this true or a crock of rubish ?

To my knowlege thats rubbish.

Someone did end up in hospital, but thats because they punched a telegraph pole. They punched the pole because of frustration after one of their team mates took 12 shots while getting viciously mugged (by a non ramping marker). The player was clearly (from what ive heard) walking off the field with hand raised at the time.

Sounds like these incodents have been combined (with bits added) to make up what you heard.....although i could be wrong

yup, only three first aid incidents
1) slashed hand while opening a box
2) shattered hand (majpr fractures) after punching a telegraph pole.
3) Major welts to the body from a stupid mugging, player told to get checked out by a cocerned marshall

I know this as
A) I saw the accident book
B) I slashed my left hand opening a box
C) I fractured the crap out of my right hand punching a telegraph pole
D) I did it because a team mate suffered a stupid over the top mugging

So three incidents, all involving me or mine

Sounds false, but as blood clots take time to form, no accident would have been recorded at the time.
