If youre really stuck i'll be able to sort it for you, i'm nr coventry so not that far away i am however very busy at the mo so couldnt promise to do it instantly. All i'd need is the frame, and a good bolt, then i fix it for free if you cover any parts costs.

PM me if youre stuck
Dude, how can you pass up an offer like this??

I'd go out and buy a good bolt.

Hay dont get me wrong i am not turning it down, its just i dont have a clue on what i would need, ok yea a new bolt, but what size and how long. I have never had a problem like this before so am well out of my depth here. (reason why i joined and put up this thread) I am currently shocked at the amount of info i have gained so far. sorry if i sounded ungreatful, i can asure you i am not, Just a little clue less.

Hello mate,

Is that the halfblock that was floating around Skirmish High Wycombe couple of weeks back. With an E1 instead of the race frame and the buggered race solenoid?
If it is, it’s gonna need a lot of TLC and then some.

If you want I can get the stripped thread helicoiled or re tapped and an appropriate bolt to fix the FBM in place. Depending on the damage. You would need to send me just the body stripped down, and the FBM.
(I can strip down the marker if you don’t have the tools)

All you would need to pay for is return postage.

Let me know? ;)

Hi mate

I have one spare original 1/4” 12 point bolt for the cocker ASA. Will have a look to see if we have any imperial (AF) helicoile that will fit the bolt. I have a feeling we only have metric. If that’s the case a slightly larger diameter bolt will need to be used. And as the original bolt has a snug fit in the ASA it will need to be bored out a little.
As for making a bolt the answer is “NO” will try to find one as close a match as possible.
