I have been playing with the idea of setting up a uk student paintball association at the uni tourney, just to give us a lobbying body rather than a load of people. Just something to sound official to start with, what does anyone else think (or does it alreay exist...).

Ahh Mr Kirke, we've been expecting you!

Me and Hotpoint tried to get a uni balling body set up in the past, problem was that everybody (except me it seems!) graduated, and the clubs didn't have enough folks to keep them going.

Hopefully things have moved on a little since then, and we can form some sort of body over a few jars after the inter-uni.

If we get something sorted, I'll do a website (and even host it - for a while anyways) so that we can send a link out to other universities sports and societies.

Well I'll run it as a graduate if y'all want. I figure a Hotmail inbox and a mailing list is a start. But yes, we'll sort it out in a couple of wks time.

A website is a good idea, as is UKPSF affiliation and student discounts at all major UK suppliers and... the possiblities!

But just something official to contact BUSA etc would be a good idea IMNSHO.

Anyways, Rich if you want it, its your baby, you posted here first but I'm willing to help or take it over or whatever

As my team mate John said.

I'll be playing for Teesside next week and I did try to organise a team/club for Teesside uni but due to ppl being unwilling to help me set it up I was unable to take all the work load myself so I had to cancel the tea,/club, even after well over 100 ppl signed up for the club.

Looking forward to the Uni tournament week after next and good luck to all the teams that enter

Southampton Uni definitely had one when I was there. That was about 3 years ago admittedly but they were quite keen as I remember.
