if you go to uni, have just finished uni or are going to uni and you know that your university has either a paintball club, society or team please post here and say who to contact if you know the contact. i am trying to get a list for BUSA so that we can get paintball in to universities.

if you play and are at uni and there is not a club, soceity or team also post and say that there is not a club, we need to get people playing from many universities as possible.
busa want a minimum of 22 unis before they would get involved. give me the names they want.

also look at gillies post about an inter university tournament in october.

Hi there, Im getting together a team at Newcastle Uni. Getting a whole load of hassle from the union, but all things going well we should get set up this coming year.
Planning to put in an (most likely underfunded under-equipped!) appearence at the tournament in October.

Bournemouth

I've just started back at Bournemouth Uni and have a meeting tonight with the boss of the paintball society. I don't know if we can make the tourney- but I'm going to try! I think the society is made up of rental players rather than people with any previous experience, which isn't a bad thing, but slightly annoying on my part as i wanted to kick some ass at this Inter-uni thingy!

All Uni teams intending to enter a team for the Inter-Uni tournament, please send in your forms and entry fee asap!! This is less than two weeks away now - no extensions on the deadline !
Five teams confirmed so far. We will be organising the schedule and marshals very soon so please get in touch!

Teesside

Teesside does not have a club, unfortunately the chairman has had to stop, there will be 5 of us representing teesside, but after that there will not a be a uni team, unless I quit my job and be just a skint student.

We have the same problem, everyone wants to play but no one wants to pay to do it.

Guys, you don't need to be a recognised society - just a bunch of keenie players who happen to be at the same uni. Things can grow from there. It usually just takes one or two committed (and usually insane) people to get the momentum going and, yes it is hard work, but great when other people start to jump on your bandwagon Give it a go and good luck with it!

Uni of Kent used to have a paintball society I dont know if its still going. I helped organise a days play for them but I was a bit over qualified to play.
