I never thought The Office was funny either, but surely the idea of a sitcom is that you can relate yourself/other people to the characters.

For me Lee Evans is all about his lunatic actions instead of jokes(if you've seen him then you should know what i mean) Billy Connolly is and will always be my fave comedian. Ok he's getting on a bit and isn't as funny these days. Gotta like Frankie Boyle too. He goes at it like he doesn't care if he offends anyone.

Yes but it needs to be in a funny take on real life. The Office just came across as awkwardly unfunny as David Brent himself.
