I haven't been to bricket wood before, what is the playing field like - will we need football boots?

Also, Is anyone going to be driving from / through Reading that I might be able to jump in with and donate petrol money to?

the field is astro turf so turf boots or trainers would do, with all the rain being around i would say turf boots unless if you want your trainers to be a little discoloured
